Suspension accelerator pedal

Compared with the floor pedal, the suspended accelerator pedal can only provide a point for the front foot, so driving the calf for a long time will be more rigid, that is, most people complain that the suspended pedal is very tired, and it leads to its control accuracy is not as good as the floor pedal, and can not easily make heel movements.

From the point of view of vehicle design, suspension accelerator pedal is usually used for SUVs with large body. This is because of its high instrumentation position and high sitting posture. Floor pedal is not necessarily suitable for all drivers, which may lead to unreasonable ergonomics. Whether it is floor or suspended accelerator pedal, they are only a source of signal acquisition. Since the large-scale electronic transformation of automobiles began in the late 1980s, the accelerator pedal has been replaced by the traditional cable control by electronic signal acquisition, which makes the design of pedal not to worry about the layout of the cable, so what kind of car matches what kind of accelerator pedal, and how to tread it.
